The Haller Farmers App has won the Environmental Impact Award 2025

The Haller Farmers application, of which the Maison de l’Artemisia is a partner, has won the Environmental Impact Award at the 9th Digital Leaders Impact Awards.

Haller Farmers App Artemisia french

Launched by the Haller Foundation in 2014, initially in English and Swahili, the Haller Farmers app has already provided 30,000 small-scale farmers with affordable, organic and environmentally-friendly farming techniques.

La Maison de l’Artemisia translated the application into French and enhanced it with its expertise and knowledge of artemisia annua and afra for human health and the fight against malaria, as well as for environmental and animal health (One Health).

Our partnership with the Haller Foundation means that the Haller Farmers application is now available to 200 million French-speaking smallholders, who will gain easy access to sustainable farming techniques, be able to begin their transition to agro-ecology, and also network, protect and improve the health of their communities, as well as that of their livestock and their soil.

The judges highlighted not only the app’s accessibility for smallholder farmers and alignment with their social needs, but also Haller’s innovative white-label model, which has allowed like-minded organisations to adopt and scale sustainable agricultural solutions globally.
