La Maison de l’Artemisia undertakes to respect, as data controller, the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended and the General Regulations on Data Protection published in the Official Journal on April 27, 2016 and in force since May 25, 2018. Personal data (hereafter referred to as “Data”) is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable subject. A subject is deemed to be “identifiable” when he or she can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more elements specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
La Maison de l’Artemisia ensures compliance with data minimisation by only collecting and processing data that is strictly necessary for the purpose(s) for which it is processed. La Maison de l’Artemisia will also take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is accurate, complete and, if necessary, updated.
The purposes of data collection by La Maison de l’Artemisia are principally the following:
- Management of donor relations, potential donors
- Management of information and external communication (newsletters and brochures)
In accordance with the amended Law “Informatique et Libertés”, La Maison de l’Artemisia informs you about the processing of your personal data.

La Maison de l’Artemisia only communicates collected data to its internal services as well as service providers and their staff with regard to the execution of the services entrusted to them and that they must carry out on behalf of La Maison de l’Artemisia. All persons having access to your data are authorised and designated and are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
La Maison de l’Artemisia keeps your data only for the period necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes for which they were collected, in compliance with legislation in force.
La Maison de l’Artemisia outsources some processing and may transfer data outside the European Union. In these cases, La Maison de l’Artemisia undertakes to enter into contractual clauses with subcontractors that guarantee an adequate level of protection.
