Research
Infusions of Artemisia annua and afra have been used for centuries in China and Africa against malaria and other parasitosis.
However, as these plants contain hundreds of molecules, they are complex to study and difficult to standardize. Studies have been carried out, but not according to international standards due to lack of public funds.
More and more organizations are actively involved in research on Artemisia annua and Artemisia afra. And so, La Maison de l’Artemisia has made its third mission to coordinate this worldwide community of committed people and actors of change interested in Artemisia.
